Arts & Education Legacy of R.E.E.S.E.

Donation protected
We hope you enjoyed the quick video above. Greetings and thank you for all of your ongoing compassion, prayers and scholarship donations; past and present. As of this March 7, we are into the 2nd year of the annual R.E.E.S.E. Arts and Education Scholarships fundraiser. Last year, 100% of the donations were awarded to three outstanding scholars that are still thriving at Alabama A&M University, Howard University and Texas Southern University! Again, THANK YOU if you have made a donation to this annual fundraiser. Can you please share this scholarship fundraiser with your family, friends and network? The annual recipients are our future. Any amount makes a difference.
We truly appreciate your donations to our advocacy against all senseless gun violence through Moms Demand Action/Everytown for Gun Safety that we raised funds for in 2022; and the first annual R.E.E.S.E. scholarship fund which launched March 7, 2023. The annual scholarships will continue to be awarded to deserving Rockdale County High School graduates where Reese graduated from in 2008 and/or to a college student where he attended college, Savannah State University. The annual scholarship recipients will be announced and celebrated every year. Donation options are easy, fast and secured through Go Fund Me (below).
My beloved (unarmed) son, Reese, was lost to “gun violence” on March 7, 2022. Like many victims, my son’s life in progress was cut short and his future was completely taken away in a split second with three bullets! He did not get a chance to live out the rest of his natural life beyond 31 and achieve his best life. Reese’s life story was still in progress, positive growth in works, dreams unlived and his desire to share his lessons forward to help others was taken away. I never could have even imagined the evil nightmare coming that my unarmed son’s life could be taken away just five hours after I told him “Good morning” at 9:20am with plans to talk again after work that same day. Like every March, I was going to soon ask my son what he wanted for his upcoming Birthday later in March, but that was stolen from us forever.
Gun violence committed by an evil being may have taken the physical Reese away from us all on March 7 in 2022, but March 7, 2023 was the birth of R.E.E.S.E. as his love, light and dreams lives on eternally. R.E.E.S.E. captures the essence of who my son was in his 31 years of this life.

My son and I “planned” years ago to pour into outstanding minority males by 2025 specifically, as our Williams Legacy but we did not get to launch our dream as originally planned. This was and is important to us because this world has many distractions that detoured many to destruction; and away from their “true crown and success bound mantle”. There is enough negativity in this world so our goal is to provide love and through annual scholarships, to seed into “greatness.” Together, in spirit and eternal love, my Son and I are now launching year 2 of our dream. Reese Williams “lives on” through all of us and his passions, a Legacy of Arts and Education.
