Pass the Bass brain injury support

Tax deductible
my name is Dylan Flynn.  when 15, shortly after getting my first bass guitar, I suffered a traumatic brain injury in an automobile accident.
I was in a coma for 12 days, not expected to survive, and then in rehab for 6 weeks, assumed I'd spend the rest of my life in a nursing home.
I'm currently 32 years old. the neurological damage, I'm not really able to play my bass.  a few years ago I started a campaign called Pass the Bass.  while getting as many bassists as I can to play mine I am using music to raise money for brain injury support.
whether it be auto accidents, sports injuries or any number of other accidents there are numerous individuals with a brain injury who could greatly benefit from all the support they could get.
having greatly exceeded doctors expectations I feel like I am in a fairly ideal position,  having first hand knowledge of what a traumatic brain injury does to a person, to help those who were not as fortunate as myself.
there is an organization, the Brain Injury Association of America, that I am wanting to send donations to.
my two biggest aspirations are to write a book, a bio of me and interview of as many bassists as I can get, and to put together as many benefits as I can.  all proceeds going to brain injury support
