Andrew's funeral and memorial

My name is Gregg, I have 4 amazing children, 3 boys and 1 girl. My youngest son, Andrew passed away November 10th. Andrew was 21. For those that knew him knew he was always pushing the limits and had an adventurous soul. He had a love for animals that was unmatched, especially cats. Though he had a difficult struggle over the last few years with his sobriety, that fire and compassion inside him was always there. His struggle with drugs and alcohol was a turbulent one, but he kept trying. So many times he reached out after succumbing to his struggle and asking for help and to go back to rehab and try, try again. He kept fighting even at times when he wasn't sure if he could do it. He always had his family there to support him. His fight is now over, and he can finally be at peace.

Andrew was a minimalist and very private in his life and struggles. Due to this we have kept his funeral very small and private with none of the flowers he would have complained endlessly about. Instead we honor his last goodbye as he would have preferred. I ask instead of buying flowers please donate or go explore the outdoors in his memory. We have started this go fund me to help cover the costs of his funeral service.

He is survived by his parents, Gregg and Scarlett, and his 3 siblings- Bobby, Isaiah, and Ashley. To everyone who has reached out, thank you so much for your compassion. If you have a similar struggle, please know you are not alone. God bless.
