On Saturday, November 8th Andrew Billerbeck was found by his friend on the floor of his room in a seizure which was later found to be the result of an orange-sized glioblastoma in his brain.  He spent his 28th birthday in the hospital awaiting surgery.

Andrew recently has been in a clinical trial at Mayo Clinic but a tumor regrew and so he was taken off the trial in order to have more surgery, where they got 95% of the new tumor out.  We are awaiting his options going forward which will probably be another clinical trial if possible.  He is a hopeful and faithful person through all of this and is willing to continue participate in trials and fighting for as long as it takes to get his cancer under control.

Andrew is unable to work for the forseeable future but will need to keep traveling to Mayo Clinic or beyond for treatment.  This and his treatment have proven very expensive, and we are asking his friends, and Billerbeck family and friends, and even strangers for help with financial resources during this difficult, unexpected challenge.
