Alwin's Senior Patio Eagle Scout Project

Hello Everyone,

My name is Alwin Prasanna, and I am a Boy Scout with Troop 10 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Atlanta, Georgia. I am excited to announce my upcoming Eagle Scout project, which will be conducted at Vineyard Johns Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care.

For my project, I will be constructing three patio decks in their Japanese garden. This initiative is critical for the senior residents as it will address the current hazards in these outdoor areas. Currently, the seniors are restricted from accessing the garden due to unsafe conditions, which are areas where they may fall and hurt themselves, that have prevented the seniors from enjoying recreational activities in the Japanese garden.

The installation of these new patio decks will cover the hazardous zones, ensuring safe and enjoyable access for all residents to use this beautiful space for recreation.
