It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother Alma Gomez.

Diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2022, our family was devastated to learn the news but determined to help our mom fight this terrible disease. Shortly after the diagnosis, we began treatment in hopes of reducing and preventing the growth of the cancer.

After numerous grueling chemotherapy sessions and radiation, we were happy to find that our mom had no trace of cancer in March 2023. However, this joy lasted only for a short period of time.

In the beginning of August, our mom fell ill and we took her in for an emergency CT scan. The results of the scan showed that the cancer returned and had metastasized to multiple organs. We were once again devastated but still so very determined to beat this disease.

After beginning a 2nd treatment of chemotherapy, it pains our family to announce that our mom has lost her battle against cancer. Though her body grew tired and unable to continue, we know her spirit lives forever.

One thing we will always be so proud of during this challenging time, is that our mom remained so strong and determined to fight this disease, not only for herself, but for our family. We will miss her incredibly and know she will always be with us.

As we prepare to say our final goodbyes, we graciously ask for any donations to help our family cover the cost of her funeral expenses. We understand if you are unable to contribute but know that your prayers are always especially welcome.
