Ally Jean: Warrior's Journey of Hope!
Donation protected
Our family’s world turned upside finding out our precious Ally Jean, daughter of Amanda and Ken Wadsworth, was diagnosed with HLHS at her 20-week ultrasound. Their baby girl was born October 19th, 2023, at 6:04pm. After her amazing birth she was rushed to Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and immediately needed help breathing and required intubation. The next day mom and dad had another bomb thrown at them. Ally was diagnosed with another birth defect called Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). This has caused additional major medical concerns, complications in her medical treatment, and the road to recovery! Within hours of her arrival, Ally was then transferred from Saint Joseph hospital to All Children’s, separating her from mom, dad, and family, and as one can imagine this was a terrifying experience as their newly born baby girl was whisked away in an ambulance enroute a different hospital over 20 miles away! As traumatic as that was it was in her best interest to receive very specific and special care of our unique baby girl’s needs. We are so thankful to God for this precious gift and know she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139)! We believe in healing, miracles, and trusting in Christ, the Greatest and original Physician for all her many needs. Our family is asking for all your prayers, thoughts, and if possible financial support, as healthcare insurance will only cover about 80% of her extremely expensive and numerous treatments to come over the course of her life!
