Help Me Get a Car and My Life Back on Track

Hi, I’m Antonia, and I’m asking for a little help from a lot of kind strangers (or friends I just haven’t met yet).

On April 7, 2025, life took a hard left turn — literally. I was in a car accident that left me without a car, without work, without my relationship, my savings, and heartbreakingly, without my dog.

It was my (then) significant other's car.

(I had a car also, but it had been sold a year prior, so we were a one-vehicle couple, working on saving to become a two-vehicle couple.)

As a result of ALL that transpired,

I had to move back in with my elderly father. He’s sweet and supportive, and I know he secretly loves having me here… but we both know it’s time I fly the nest again. (He didn’t even get a break before I was back asking what's for dinner.)

Here’s the deal: I want to get back to work. I need to get my life going again. But right now, I’m living on a farm five miles from town with no car and no internet — so unless I start hitchhiking with a chicken under one arm, I’m stuck.

I’m asking for just $1 or $5. It may not sound like much, but if enough people pitch in a little, I can get a reliable car, add the insurance, reclaim my independence, and stop borrowing my dad’s slippers to walk to the corner store.

Wait... there's no corner store to walk to.
