Money is being raised to help Alan
Smeaton who has a lung disease,
pulmonary fibrosis. The disease is
hereditary and runs in his family on his
mother’s side. Alan’s mother, two aunts
and one uncle have died from the
disease. Alan has an uncle that received a lung transplant and is thriving.
Alan was diagnosed in May 2020 after a several month wait to see a doctor
because of Covid. Alan needs a lung
transplant in order to live. He is
undergoing testing to clear him for the
transplant, which requires many trips to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Alan is a husband to Pam, dad to Jenny
and Amy, and grandpa to Delaina and
Kaden. Any monetary help you can give Alan would be greatly appreciated to
help him get the medical treatment he
needs. Alan and Pam are faithful
members of West Forest United
Methodist Church, Millington. MI. The
congregation of West Forest UMC
prayerfully ask for your help for Alan
Smeaton. All money raised will be given
directly to the Smeatons to cover travel
expenses, medical procedures, and
prescriptions.
Thank you for your help, love and
prayers.
