A vida do Armindo está em suspenso: não pode fazer esforços físicos e vive com o receio constante do risco que corre todos os dias. Sempre foi forte, ativo e o pilar da família, e agora precisa que sejamos o pilar dele.

Armindo, 72 years old, is facing a recurrent dissection of the ascending aorta, a serious cardiothoracic condition that requires urgent surgery. We have found, in the private sector, a surgeon capable of performing this procedure — the only viable alternative at this moment.

Armindo’s life is on hold: he cannot exert himself physically and lives with the constant fear of the risk he faces every single day. He has always been strong, active, and the pillar of our family, and now he needs us to be his pillar.
