Mi chiamo Giordana e da 20 anni nella mia famiglia vive e lavora Kumari, una donna straordinaria venuta in Italia dallo Sri Lanka per sostenere la sua famiglia.

Ieri 28/11/2025, in Sri Lanka, il fiume vicino alla loro casa ha esondato distruggendo completamente l’abitazione dove vivono i suoi cari. Ora sono senza un tetto, senza beni essenziali, e senza la possibilità di affrontare le spese per ricostruire.

Kumari ha sempre aiutato tutti noi con dedizione, amore e rispetto. In 20 anni è diventata parte della nostra famiglia. Oggi vorremmo essere noi ad aiutare la sua.

Ogni piccolo contributo, anche minimo, sarà utilizzato per:

• ricostruzione della casa

• acquisto di beni di prima necessità (materassi, cucina, acqua, energia)

• supporto per i bambini rimasti senza nulla

My name is Giordana, and for the past 20 years Kumari has been living and working with my family here in Italy. She came from Sri Lanka to earn money to support her loved ones back home.

Yesterday 28/11/2025, in Sri Lanka, the river near her family’s house flooded and completely destroyed their home. All her family is now left with nothing and have no shelter.

Kumari has always taken care of us with dedication, kindness and respect. Over the years, she has become a true part of our family. Today, we would like to help hers.

Every contribution, even the smallest one, will be used for:

• rebuilding the house

• purchasing essential items (mattresses, cooking equipment, access to water and electricity)

• supporting the children who have lost everything
