Aid Miss Donna: Honoring Vernon Vest's Legacy

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the passing of Vernon Vest, the founder of the FC06 crew. He was also the delegated Sous Chef to Miss Donna, the greatest infield Chef ever. There was never a harder working man at the track. If he wasn't helping to cook up some of the best food fare in the infield, he was busy politicking with security to keep all of us out of trouble.

I spoke with Miss Donna, and she told me the most glorious story of him being saved by Jesus at the hospital. It is one of the most heartwarming stories that leaves you knowing that Vern was heading to a much better place.

In the wake of his passing, Miss Donna could use all of our support. We are putting together this fundraiser to help her with some immediate needs while she gets her legs back. For those of you that knew Vern, you know he would give you the shirt off his back. Let's return the favor and take care of his love, Miss Donna. Thank you!!
