Aid Georgia Ruffolo's Fight Against Cancer

To support Georgia Ruffolo's battle against uterine cancer

Georgia was diagnosed in 3/24 with stage 4 cancer. As her co-workers and friends, we want to help her thru this difficult time.

She is a long time employee of Barone's of Glen Ellyn (18+ years).She has put up a good fight: driven herself to treatments & worked afterward (7 chemo, 13+ paracentesis, 3 transfusions, etc) and maintained her sense of humor! But in December things took a turn for the worse. She is no longer able to work and social security is not enough to cover her mounting expenses. She is not eligible for soc sec disability because she had already reached full retirement age before her diagnosis. She used the last of her savings during 7 weeks off for surgery. She misses work but isn't likely to return.
