Aid for Denise: Teacher in Need

Hello, everyone. My name is Denise Mallard, and I am an educator/teacher in Louisiana. I am a single mother of three and a domestic violence overcomer. I love teaching and seeing my students grow. As a teacher, I am their facilitator, counselor, life coach, nurse, advocate, and so much more. Each year, during the summer months, I'm always faced with financial challenges because teachers are not paid over the summer. In past years, I was fortunate enough to at least find a part-time job to help cover summer of my bills during the summer, but this past summer was a lot different. I wasn't able to find any summer jobs during that summer, and that put a huge financial burden on my kids and me. To this day, I am still trying to recover from not having a summer job from this past summer. I am at the point where I'm at risk of losing my home and car. I normally try to figure things out on my own, but I'm beyond that point and would appreciate any help that anyone can provide. Thank you in advance!
