Help Support Alex After a Life-Changing Accident
Hi, my name is Shannon, and my sister Evlena and I run a small fiber arts shop in South Buffalo called Coffee & Crochet. Our space thrives because of the incredible artists who bring their creativity, passion, and heart into the community—and Alex is one of them.
Alex is a gifted maker who creates stunning hand-tufted rugs that often stop customers in their tracks. His wife, Rosmary, is a talented crocheter whose work also brightens our shelves. Together, they’ve become part of our vendor crew, our community, and our shop family.
Recently, Alex was in a serious motorcycle accident that left him hospitalized and unable to walk. His recovery is expected to take at least six months. During that time, he won’t be able to create, work, or support his family financially—placing a heavy burden on both him and Rosmary.
We also want to acknowledge that Alex and Rosmary are not the type to ask for help. They’re humble, hardworking, and incredibly generous—but this situation is bigger than anyone can carry alone. That’s why we’re asking for your help on their behalf.
Your donation will go directly toward covering their basic living expenses, medical costs, and giving them some breathing room during this incredibly difficult time.
Whether you’re able to give financially or simply share this campaign, it all helps. Let’s rally around two of the kindest, most hardworking artists we know.
With love and gratitude,
Shannon & Evlena
