Bike Racing for Affordable Housing 2019
Imposto dedutível

On Saturday, July 20th, I will be competing in the Trans South Dakota Bike Race - an off road, 720 mile ultra endurance bike race across my home state of South Dakota.
Once again, I will be using the race as an opportunity to raise money for the Oglala Sioux Tribe Partnership for Housing. The OSTPH is a private, non-profit organization promoting homeownership and developing viable housing options for people on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. They provide affordable housing and community self-sufficiency opportunities to the Oglala Lakota people and have take a creative, innovative and entrepreneurial approach to provide financial education and asset-building support.
OSTPH’s Executive Director, Emma “Pinky” Clifford, recently received the National Low Income Housing Coalition’s lifetime service award in recognition for her work on the Pine Ridge Reservation. I’ve known Pinky for nearly 20 years. She has inspired and motivated me throughout my career in affordable housing and I’m proud to be raising even a small amount to support the work that her team does.
I hope that you will join me in making a contribution to support their efforts to promote affordable housing and self-sufficiency on the Pine Ridge reservation.
Thanks!
Bob
