My name is Ada Simmons, and I am 17. Most people who dream of continuing dance and ballet professionally have been doing it since they were little, however this is only my 4th year dancing. I never thought it would be possible for me to make it into a summer intensive since I started late, but this year when I auditioned with NSIA, an organization that allows you to audition for 15 schools at once, I was accepted into 14 of those schools. With help from my grandparents, I was able to afford the tuition and housing to the School of Philadelphia Ballet, however now I need more help with things like flight costs and pointe shoes. This is such a big dream of mine, and I certainly don't want to be unable to afford the things that are required for such an amazing program.
