Hi Everyone,

I'd like to start by saying thank you for taking the time to open the link and read what we are here, trying to do! Everyone, meet Aldalberto Diaz, one of the strongest willed person I, personally, have ever met and his Wife, Julie Diaz. For short we call him Beto, so naturally I will use that as I tell you his story. This amazing man was diagnosed with something called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis disease, also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease. This is a very sad thing to encounter, due to how fast it is known to take the lives of those it affects, commonly a 3-5 year life expectancy. Only 10% of people live longer than 5 Years, 50% live longer than 2... With that being said, THE WILL TO LIVE IS SO POWERFUL, Beto is living proof. He has been battling ALS for 20 years now, currently 52 years young, and still kicking... Literally, this man lives by the phrase, “if you dont use it you lose it”, so over the last 20 years as the disease has slowly taken away his muscles, and ability to move or function properly on his own, he did NOT give up. He pushed and fought until his limbs on his body lost 100% function. On a daily basis, his wonderful nephew, Abryan, will sit his Tio up from his bed, and hold him while Beto stands up and pivots his legs to his toilet chair or wheelchair. It is absolutely AMAZING to see a man with a ALS for 20 years, still try to function the best he can. Beto has his beautiful wife, Julie Diaz, who stands by his side through everything that comes their way. She is currently working full time as a preschool teacher’s assistant and when she isn't at work, she is at home with her husband, acting as a ICU nurse, 24/7 7 days a week. Since Beto is trached, Julie has a baby monitor on him, and wakes up to his "Clucking" throughout the night to suction his mouth, or adjust his legs or any other issues he may encounter, at least every 2 hours. There has been some issues with them not having a nurse show up or even call off for the day, when Julie needs to leave to work. His nephew has to take the bus to get there everyday, which requires Julie to have to miss work for the day, or until Abryan can get there! Unfortunately her sick time is running out, and times are getting harder as the days go by so she can’t afford to miss work. He has been in the hospital with pneumonia, a few times this year and we all are working so hard to keep him safe and healthy! But here is where we need your help, and I'll be updating the page with videos and more information on him and the disease, but Julie and Beto are in desperate needs right now, financially. On top of their normal bills like rent, insurance, car payments, and necessities to live their everyday life, and practically run an ICU from their home, they now are suffering major pluming problems there as well. Julie and Beto are already stretched to their max, in debt and bills, but now they are experiencing major pluming problems that need to be addressed as soon as possible, especially with the winter time upon us, here in Arizona. I, myself, am just someone who volunteers my time to do things for Julie and Tio Beto, because I have grown such a love for these two individuals and their family. I told Julie about this site, GO FUND ME, and they were not wanting any kind of hand out, but said they'd think about it. Now that times are as hard as they are, with the holidays, winter, and Beto constantly has staffing issues with the companies that help take care of him, in and out of the hospital or close calls of pneumonia flaring up again, and now a extremely expensive pluming issue... We are asking, for any and all donations possible! I could go on and on about how amazing and strong Beto and his wife are, but we all have hard times, and you can imagine how hard things are for these two now.

Please, spread the word, read more about ALS, contact me via email to learn more about the family, or any questions you may have! I would love to share the information, and love.

[email redacted] or on Facebook directly if that is where you’re reading this! If nothing else, share the link! ❤️

Help me help them! God bless you all so much, and thank you for your time.
