Last night, May 28th, Flagstaff was devastated by the news of 6 cyclists involved in a traffic accident. One community member passed at the scene. Four are hospitalized. The goal of this page is to raise money for these community members to use as necessary for their hospital bills, bills due to missed work, however they so choose.

We also encourage the use of this page for words of love, encouragement, and support for the victims of this horrific accident. We ask for this page to be one of love, respect, and support.

My name is Rae Hernandez. I am a friend, mother, wife, small business owner, full time worker, event planner, super busy bee, and 20+ year member of the Flagstaff community. Some of you know me and my fundraising partners from around town and some of you may have met us through other fundraising efforts like Cheers Flagstaff. The goal here is to raise as much money as possible in support of the victims of this horrific accident. There are months of surgeries and rehabilitation in the future. I have been in touch with other Flg Bike Party fundraising efforts and we are united in our efforts to help raise as much as we possibly can. This money will go directly to the victims. Every single penny. Due to the victims being hospitalized at this time as well as wanting to respect their privacy, beneficiaries have not been named. 

I sincerely thank you for the outpouring of support and love. This community comes together in a crisis like no other. Thank you all and let’s keep this going! We are Flagstaff Strong!
