Liah needs your help

I hope you all are well and safe.

My little niece Liah has been diagnosed with "Double excretory system". A duplex collecting system, or duplicated collecting system, is one of the most common congenital renal tract abnormalities. It is characterized by an incomplete fusion of upper and lower pole moieties resulting in a variety of complete or incomplete duplications of the collecting system. While considered an anatomical variant, duplex collecting systems may be complicated by vesicoureteric reflux, obstruction or ureterocele.

This has been a challenge for Liah's well being as she is constantly requiring medical attention. Liah is only 3 years old and she lives in Venezuela with my sister Maria Jose, her father Francisco and her 2 sisters Isabella (1 year old) and Valeria (6 years old). The situation in Venezuela is extremely hard, with a minumin wage of miserable USD$8 PER MONTH they can barely afford to buy food and sustain their family. Now they are desperate to save Liah's life as she urgently needs to go under surgery.

The surgery can't be done in a public hospital due to many reasons: lack of resources and equipment and now with covid, public health sector is collapsing. My sister was advised to take Liah to a private clinic where they can save her. Unfortunately this costs thousands of dollars and as I mentioned, they can't afford it.

Hence I decided to create this fundraising campaign and seek for help. We are so blessed to have food on the table and good health. Please help my sister Maria to save her daughter's life. Liah needs this surgery very urgent as her kidneys are failing and her life is at risk. She is only 3 years old and she deserves a happy and healthy childhood.
