Help me get custody of my son

Hi, I'm Alex. Several years ago I went through a contentious divorce and moved to Seattle to put my life back together. Now that I'm back on my feet, my oldest son wants to live here with me. He flew out here in early June to visit and my fiancee and I put him up in a room in our apartment. But for him to remain here permanently means that I must regain custody.

I am in a bit of a critical state here; I need to file the paperwork with the court back in Ohio which will get me a court date and temporary custody.  That will cost several hundred dollars. Plus I need some extra to buy my son some things he needs. The rest of the money will go towards clothes for my son, some groceries, a bus card so my son can get around, and other miscellaneous things. 

My son has had a pretty rough couple of years. I want to make his life better by providing a home here in Seattle and giving him opportunities he won't have back in Ohio.
