Hi everyone,
My name is Angel. I’m a full time single mom to two beautiful little boys. 11, (Azaiah), and 6 months old, (Amaré). We have been trying to stay afloat during this pandemic since I went on an unpaid maternity leave, however savings eventually dwindled down, and bills never stopped. We have tried applying for assistance thru many different organizations, only to be turned away as the demand is high. So I am turning to my community for help.
We have been served with an eviction notice, and judgement has been ordered against me, unless I am able to pay the amount owed, plus court fees, etc. or surrender the premises by August 2nd.
My oldest is to be starting school August 9th. The following week after we are supposed to be moved out. I will also be returning back to work that same day.
My oldest also has his dog here, and we have been unable to rehome him. He is a pit mix, so going to the pound or humane society is not an option for him. And it would break my sons heart as he’s had this dog since he was a puppy.
Anything helps. I have learned that my pride will get me nowhere, and it is okay to ask for help. It does take a village to raise these children. The money will be used to pay the amount owed, plus legal fees so we may remain in our home, as a family.. Anything is appreciated.
