Antoinette’s the rebirth of a family dream.

Hello everyone,

I am finally going for it! For those who know me, I am sure you've heard me talk about starting a restaurant more times than you can count. I have been fantasizing about it for years! Really, ever since my family sold our business in California. So, I decided it was time!! I am now actively working on opening Antoinette’s.

Antoinette’s is the rebirth of Antoinette’s French Crêperie, a family-owned business that the Baldacci family opened in Manhattan Beach, CA upon our arrival from France in 2000. This small take-out restaurant was born from my parents' minds and the hard work of the whole family. It was an instant hit and earned the recognition of best new restaurant of the year in the local paper. It continued to get great reviews in the regional press. One food critic said, “Not only is the food excellent and authentic, but the atmosphere is outstanding. You really feel as if you were in a little shop in the south of France!”

Today, after 25 years, I wanted to resurrect this concept to honor the memory of my late father by transposing the elements that made our first venture successful to a different format. I want to bring our story and delicious food to people of our community through a food trailer.

Antoinette’s will provide their patrons with a curated menu of sweet and savory crepes, as well as Italian and French-style sandwiches. Our menu is a mix of old French and Italian favorite recipes and Bruno’s creations made with local ingredients.

Our goal is to create a food trailer that would allow us to bring our food to more people in our community and cater their events in our area. The choice of a trailer is purely to keep our overhead low. The amount that we are seeking would give us enough to buy the trailer, equipment, first inventory, and keep on top of all the expenses for 6 months.

It is not easy to start a new business nowadays. I have everything set to go except for the funding. Banks are happy to loan money but not too keen on taking risks. This is why I decided to do something I'd never thought of doing before. I am calling out for help!

Everyone that can help in any way will be part of Antoinette’s family forever! We will find a way to honor and show our appreciation as soon as possible if the project comes to fruition.
