This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write.

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for support for a young mum who is facing a fight she should never have to face alone.

Terrie is a 41-year-old mum to two beautiful children, Mitchell (13)and Cora(11).

Back in August, Terrie found a lump, and from that moment everything spiralled. She underwent major surgery to remove a 16cm mass, followed by a hysterectomy. That was when we learned it was ovarian cancer.

We believed this was the beginning of recovery. A difficult road, yes, but one that included treatment, hope, and a chance at returning to some kind of normal life. The next six months were going to be hard, but manageable.

Then came Christmas Eve. A scan that day delivered devastating news.

The cancer has now spread to three more places, her stomach, bowel, and spleen.

This means more treatment.

More operations.

More time in hospital.

More time away from her children.

And like any mum, Terrie’s biggest fear isn’t herself, it’s how she can continue to care for, provide for, and be present for her children while facing this unimaginable battle.
