A Mother's Journey Through the Ashes of Gaza

Donation protected
This is Emtithal a Palestinian mother from Gaza, reaching out to you with a heart burdened by the heavy toll of war. My family, like so many others, has endured the recent conflict in Gaza, and we carry the physical and emotional scars of the relentless storms that swept through our lives.

In the midst of the chaos, my husband, our 1-year-old daughter, and I found ourselves caught in the crossfire of one of the airstrikes that ravaged our home. The explosion not only shattered the walls that once provided us shelter but also left us physically wounded and emotionally scarred.

As a mother, I cradle my daughter, her innocent eyes reflecting the trauma she has witnessed at such a tender age. My husband, once the rock of our family, now grapples with injuries that serve as painful reminders of the price we paid for simply seeking safety within our own walls.

Your generous contributions will be instrumental in providing the medical care and support we desperately need. They will help us piece together not only the physical structures that crumbled but also the shattered fragments of hope that once defined our family.

In sharing our story, we hope to connect with hearts willing to stand with us in solidarity. Your kindness can be the beacon guiding us out of the darkness, enabling us to rebuild not only our home but the resilience of the human spirit.

As parents, we dream of restoring our daughter's laughter, transforming the echoes of war into melodies of hope. Your support becomes the foundation upon which we can rebuild a future where love triumphs over despair.

Thank you for being the light in our darkest hour.

UPDATES !

We were forced to leave our homes, our jobs, and everything we owned, and we were displaced to the south. There was no electricity, no water, and no gas for cooking. We had difficulty finding a place to live.

A few days later, the bombing intensified, and they bombed the houses we were in, forcing us to move to Rafah..

We lived for three months in Rafah. There were no basic necessities for life. There was neither sufficient food nor clean water. There was no longer any milk for my little daughter. My daughter fell ill with a cold and we would not find medicine for her.

The bombing intensifies, destruction is everywhere, we do not sleep day or night with fear. At the same time, my husband lost his entire job, his car, and everything he owned. I lost my job and my own project that I had been working on for two years. At the same time, we need to meet our daughter's needs and live as much as possible. I ask you to donate and share our link to live better!
