It is with shattered hearts that we share the tragic and senseless loss of our beloved Decontee Papay Payne, who was murdered on February 26, 2026.

Decontee was truly one of a kind. He was outgoing, happy, friendly, and kind — the type of person who could walk into any room and instantly become the life of the party. His laughter was contagious, his energy was unmatched, and his presence made people feel seen and valued. He had a way of bringing people together and spreading joy wherever he went.

The pain of losing him so suddenly and violently is something our family is still trying to process. No family ever prepares for a loss like this.

We are asking for support to help cover Decontee’s funeral and memorial expenses so we can lay him to rest with the love, dignity, and honor he deserves.
