A love lost to suicide.

My name is Meaghan Goughnour I am the best friend to Sara. This GoFundMe is in support for Sara and James Albury married June 10, 2023. It is with a heavy heart that I share the sudden and devastating loss of James Henry Albury III to suicide on October 22, 2023. James was a loving and devoted father of three to Jason 21, Anna 19, and Jamie 12. Sara a mother of three to Sara 21, Kristyana 17, Alex 16. The couple wed to create a modern day Brady bunch.

One of Jame’s most extraordinary gifts was his capacity to give love even in the face of tremendous personal pain and suffering. His unwavering love will be felt and cherished forever.

James was the primary breadwinner for his family. James dedicated his life to helping others as an EMT and engineer firefighter. Sara continues to dedicate her life to helping others as a Paramedic. I know they are going to have a long challenging road ahead coping with the new reality of life without the love of James as Husband, Father, Son, and brother. Through this page, I'm hoping to help ease the financial burdens that lay ahead for Sara and their 6 children. All the funds raised will go directly towards; funeral costs, mortgage payments, estate lawyer fees, counseling, and immediate living expenses.

I am also hoping to bring light to the suicide epidemic - such a permanent decision often made because of a temporary problem, has a lifelong devastating ripple effect on the loved ones left behind. For anyone who needs to hear this please know you are not alone, you are loved, and don't be afraid to ask for help. There is always hope and brighter days ahead.
