I am wishing for a Christmas miracle for this abandoned shepherd dog we are calling Dusk. He has been living in a ditch for a couple of weeks now and is in very poor health. We finally got him to trust us enough to bring him inside, ahead of the storm. He is severely emaciated, intact, and has multiple skin lesions in his groin area. It seems he also has either ear mites or possibly foxtails in both ears. He is going to the vet next week for an exam and vaccinations.
