Whale Of A Tale, Tyler's Wish

Hi, we are the Verbeek family, fundraising for our nephew Tyler. Tyler was born with Spina Bifida and has endured over 35 surgeries in his life. He has surpassed many milestones that we never thought possible. His language is Sign and he enjoys swimming, the outdoors, and spending time with his family. Tyler has the most positive attitude and outlook at life despite all the adversities he has already faced at 22 years old. Tyler is an old soul, who enjoys the simple things in life, never asking for anything. He was recently diagnosed with a rare condition that is not treatable and not curable.............we are devastated! His mom (our sister) recently asked him to create a Bucket List which is the purpose for this fundraising endeavor.

Tyler's greatest wishes are to see the Northern lights, go whale watching (he has always loved animals), and lastly to see the Spirit bears. Unfortunately, these can only be seen in British Columbia which is a very difficult journey for him since he is unable to go by plane. The diagnosed condition largely on his brain would be impacted by the pressure plane travel would put on his head. Tyler and his mom will need to drive in an RV so that Tyler could be comfortable for the trip and be able to lay down in the very specific bed he needs. Renting an RV to get to B.C. including the gas to get there and back is a tremendous cost, so this is where we need your help fulfilling his Bucket List. Any amount of support that you can offer is appreciated or if you have connections that would help our nephew get to B.C. and complete his lifetime dreams in a short time is also appreciated.
