Our sweet Astraea is bravely fighting brain cancer, and while she undergoes treatment our family is facing overwhelming financial strain. Melvin has not been able to work full time, and we were already just barely making ends meet before this diagnosis turned our world upside down. We have applied for and received all the grants and assistance available to us through our medical social worker, but we are now at a point where we simply cannot keep up with everyday bills. With the added expenses of back-to-school needs, the upcoming winter fuel costs, and the holidays around the corner, we are struggling more than ever. All funds raised will go directly to my mom, who is helping us manage and pay our essential bills so we can focus fully on Astraea’s care and healing.
