Our dear friend, Christina Locke, has been diagnosed with end-stage liver disease. The only cure is a liver transplant. She is undergoing an evaluation in November to determine if she is eligible to join the liver transplant waiting list. Her medical evaluation requires travel to a hospital several hours from home for multiple days and will result in expenses not covered by insurance. We also anticipate additional personal and travel expenses as she continues on her transplant journey.
