Shawn serving as Camp Director for the Law Enforcement Youth Camp

In November of 2017, Shawn was diagnosed with aggressive colon cancer that has metastasized to his lungs.  

Shawn is a loving husband and Dad to two children. 
Shawn has worked for the Missoula County Sheriff's Department for over 17 years and is currently the inmate transport Sergeant for the Department.  He is also the Commander for the Facility's Disturbance Response Team; his team moniker is 'Camo', given to him by his peers for his love of camoflauge and all things hunting.  He is also the Director for the Law Enforcement Youth Camp serving at-risk youth every summer.

The family will need as much support, financial and otherwise, that they can get during this difficult time.  As Shawn fights his way through this, it is his friend's and family's greatest hope that he will not have to worry about the financial hardships so often associated with treatment.
