I have been invited to take part on the Heiva I Tahiti Dance Competition with my Tahitian dance group Te Aho Nui this summer!
We'll be traveling to Tahiti for 10 days to participate in a cultural program including French and Tahitian language, history, costume, drumming, ukulele, 'ote'a, then of course, the dance competition, Heiva I Tahiti.
If you know me you know that I dont like to bother people with donations but as many of you know I started my own business this year, SURFCORE Fitness, and although things are starting to look great I dont have a lot of exta funds right now.
Though the trip is months away, I have to secure my plane ticket and lodging now. If you can help it would be greately appreciated. Every bit counts! This is a oe in a lifetime opportunity and I would be a dream come true for me.
