Hello, my name is Sally. I am originally from Peru and currently living in the United States. I am part of a small group of people who support rescued dogs in Lima.
On August 1st, we rescued Angelito, a dog from Huaycán who had suffered rejection and abuse all his life. He is now hospitalized in critical condition: his glucose levels remain dangerously low despite receiving dextrose treatment, and he is battling a large transmissible venereal tumor (TVT), along with several smaller tumors throughout his body.
The veterinary team is working to stabilize him so he can begin chemotherapy as soon as possible. Once he is stronger, the doctors plan to perform surgery to remove the main tumor.
Angelito has already endured too much pain on the streets, but now he has a chance to fight. With your support, he can receive the treatment he needs to have a second chance at life and finally know what it means to live without pain or rejection.

Hola, soy Angelito ✨
Fui rescatado el 1 de agosto de las calles de Huaycán, en Lima – Perú. Toda mi vida he sufrido mucho maltrato: la gente me pegaba y me echaba de los lugares porque tenían asco de mi condición.
Tengo un tumor muy grande en mis genitales (TVT) y varios pequeños en todo mi cuerpecito, los cuales me causan dolor y me han hecho vomitar mucho. Por eso, ahora estoy hospitalizado, esperando poder estabilizarme para comenzar mis quimioterapias y seguidamente me puedan realizar una cirugía para extirparme este gran tumor.
Yo solo quiero tener una segunda oportunidad… quiero ser un perrito sano, que no cause miedo ni rechazo cuando me miren. Ya he sufrido demasiado en las calles, pero sé que con la bendición de Dios y con tu ayuda puedo salir adelante.
Por favor no me ignores, ayúdame a curarme y volver a sonreír. Cada aporte o compartida puede salvar mi vida.
