For our Oustanding Employees at The Southern Birmingham, The Family Dog, The Ivy Buckhead, The Valentine Nasvhille.
We have always made commitments to take care of our staff in any way possible. As of Monday, we had no choice but to leave nearly 150 of OUR people without a form of income. Everyone, including us as owners are unemployed and had to stop service due to COVID-19. In this time of need, we ask you to think of any of our team members who have served you in the past. Anyone who has provided a unique experience or has helped you unwind after a long week. Served you food that made you smile, or served you a drink that made you laugh. Those are the people who are most financially affected by the shuttering of our doors. We are asking for anyone who is still receiving paychecks to consider giving anything they can. $25,000 isn't nearly enough, but it's a start. This is one of many ways we plan to support our team, and 100% of this money will go directly to the employees who are left with no income. Thank you for your contribution.
