Hi, Friends. Last Saturday I boo-boo'ed myself. Long story short, I popped the tendon that connects my right bicep to my radius. I've seen an orthopedic surgeon and I'm scheduled to have surgery for the repair this coming Monday May 5th. You all have been so generous in the past, and I hate to ask for help again, but this surely was not expected. According to the ER Doctor, "This typically happens to 'Old Guys'."

I'm asking for your help in covering my medical expenses and my time away from work. My insurance will help significantly, but I'll be out of work for at least three months. And not only that, I was supposed to start a second job last night, but given my injury and my time to recover, I expect that I won't be able to start with them any time soon. Anything you can donate is appreciated. Thank you so much.

(the only picture worth sharing for this right now is this X-ray, showing that no bone fragments were ripped away when the tendon snapped, which is great, and means that my recovery should go nicely.)
