Richard Hill is a good friend of ours. We've known him a long time (as many of you in Champaign-Urbana probably do), he used to come in the various record stores we worked at in town, we worked with a niece of his (hey Debbie!), knew other friends of his, and we always talked music. Since we started Sandwich Life House Concerts Richard is there at every show and has become known as our official photographer. Richard, or [email redactado], is known by many for his love of music, his photos, and his cheery service driving a cab in town. Most of all though, he's our friend and part of our community.

We (or he, I guess) had a bit of a scare recently. He was in the hospital and very seriously ill. It turns out he had an extreme case of cellulitis and walking had become nigh impossible. He's back home now, but still not able to work---it's hard for him to walk at all. We are trying to get some dinners together for him (https://mealtrain.com/q761m1) but of course...he can't work right now. I don't know about you but we wouldn't be able to get by long at all without a paycheck coming in. It's so important that he has time to heal and recover. We can't chip in a lot but we will do a bit, if you can join us please do.
