Fund-raising Phase I - We exceeded our goal and raised just over $2,500.

Since Then - We have held ongoing mentoring sessions at three schools to reach 30 kids. The "Wish List" pictures are all from mentoring sites this school year.

Fund-raising Phase II - Our current goal is to raise $5,000 during this season of giving. We have secured $30,000 to mentor 30 kids from Bronzeville. In order to get mentoring efforts started, we need to build a reserve of $5,000 to address the "Wish List" needs and more. Said reserve is necessary because City of Chicago grant funds are not provided up front. The city follows a reimbursement process. We are confident that our past givers and new friends will help us to HELP KIDS.
