Support for Carrie & Nariah During Illness
Donazione protetta
I have been dealing with gastrointestinal issues since before I gave birth to my daughter, Nariah. After waiting 14 months for a gastroenterology appointment, I finally learned that I have some serious problems inside me. My inflammation levels are so high that I can’t drink or eat anything and keep it down. Over the past two months, the pain has become constant and overwhelming, leading to my recent hospitalization at CAMC. Dizziness, nausea, and dangerous inflammation levels have made it nearly impossible to keep up with daily life. Despite my best efforts to continue working, my health has forced me to miss a lot of work, and I no longer have any paid leave available. This means that every day I’m unable to work, I’m not receiving any income, which has put a huge strain on my ability to cover basic household costs.
As a single parent to my 14-month-old daughter, Nariah, this situation has been especially hard. Nariah has also been sick frequently, and caring for her while managing my own health has been a real challenge. There are days when I can barely make it off the couch, but I still need to provide for her and keep our home running. The financial stress is growing, and I’m worried about keeping up with rent, utilities, and essentials for both of us while I recover.
It has taken everything in me to create this fundraiser. I am very proud and have always tried to bear the weight on my own shoulders, but right now it is simply too much for me to handle alone. I’m reaching out for support to help cover our household expenses during this difficult time. If you would prefer to help by paying a bill directly, please contact me and I will provide the information. I am not looking for extra money—my only goal is to secure my household for Nariah and myself. Any help will go directly toward keeping a stable home for Nariah and giving me the chance to focus on getting healthy again. Thank you for reading and for any support you can offer.
