Hello, We are the TUS Foundation, a 501(C)3 Non-profit Foundation, whose mission is to provide underprivileged students both at home in the South Flordia region and abroad with the tools they need to succeed academically.
In regards to how the funds we collect and how those funds shall be used, we have, and in the future intend on continuing our purchasing of Microsoft multi-use tablets that have both laptop, and tablet capabilities.
All the money raised will be sent to the official TUS foundation account where it shall be processed and utilized to help the community.
Since the start of our high school careers, as privileged students at Boca Raton Community high school, we have recognized the importance of having viable school resources at our disposal, which allow and aid us to achieve academically. However, as unfortunate as it may be, the reality is a large number of children are not fortunate enough to be in the same position as we are in terms of resources as we are to achieve the best possible education in this day and age, and we feel this is unjust as all children deserve the same opportunity for success in life, which is what our country was founded on.
With your donations, we aim to provide the children with computers and other forms of electronic educational resources. (All contributions would be tax deductible, helping you as well as the children.)Not only would the technology you are helping provide to these children benefit their educational path, but it would also provide them with means of communication with others allowing them to expand past the limitations and confinement most of them unwillingly have.
