Please Help Homer (Lindsey) & Karen

My name is Pam (Lafon) Adams and I have started this campaign to benefit my brother Homer (Lindsey), his wife Karen, and their three children.  In February, 2015, Lindsey was diagnosed with lung cancer that has metastasized to his brain. This includes two different types of cancer, one of which is an aggressive form. He is currently undergoing radiation and will start chemo as soon as possible after completing radiation treatments.

Lindsey worked for the Macado's restaurant chain for 19 years and has stopped working so that he can pursue treatment. Karen's employer closed in May, 2013.  She looked for work for about a year but when unsuccessful, decided to stay home to care for their grandbabies. Now, she must be available full time to care for Lindsey. Lindsey has signed up for disability and Medicaid, but they are struggling to pay day to day living expenses because these benefits have not yet been approved. 

I know that Lindsey and Karen have many friends, coworkers, and family members who would help if they just knew what they needed.  So, let's pull together to help them...to give back to them all of the love and support that they have given to us over the years! Won't you please  donate to their fund? No amount is too small.

 Most of all, please keep Lindsey, Karen, their children, and their grandbabies close at heart and in your prayers....pray that God will give him the strength to fight...to live this cancer journey one day at and time...and to win his battle with cancer.
