Ion Iliescu aka John funeral fund raiser

Please help donate to John / Ion Iliescu funeral. My dad and mom have had a hard few years and would love your support to help in the funeral cost.  As you all know my father has passed on and I’m in disbelief he is no longer here, In all honesty I feel lost without him. He waited for me before he said good bye to my mom and I. His last wishes were to have a funeral and to be buried he did not believe in cremation. We are going to fill his last wish because the my dad never asked for anything. He had an amazing long life of 90 years. He touched so many peoples souls and loved and was loved by countless beautiful people that came across his life. For those of you who are blessed to have met him you will always remember him he was loving, understanding, supportive, giving, kind, funny, the life of the party, he had a hot temper but love hard, he was adventurous and he was definitely a daredevil. As his kids he made sure he taught us everything we needed to become amazing adults and he invested every minute of his life to his family and never expected anything in return but love. He fought for his family to bring us to freedom when he worked for the American Embassy in a communist country and escape communism to make sure his family was safe. He would sacrifice his life for us and didn’t blink an eye. He works for multiple embassies and knew so many languages. He was working for the American embassy helped my mom and his kids escape communism when he found out we were going to be killed because we were his family. He escaped on foot 2 years later and kept is promise to himself by getting his family to freedom as far away from socialism and murder as possible. When we landed in NY he was full of tears of overwhelming joy and kissed the ground knowing that his family was going to be safe, people look at him crazy. He saved many American soldiers out of fallen planes that were bombing his own country and kept them safe in my grandfather’s home till they were saved, knowing his family could of been killed all at the age of 13. He did not care the consequences of being caught because he knew he was saving American people that’s how much she loved America. When I say my dad is fearless he looks death in the eye and didn’t flinch. He had to be part of the Hitler youth because he didn’t have a choice and got thought it. He swam in the Olympics to represent Romania. He was a geography and history major. He was a professor and love to teach. Loved cars, motorcycles and guns and loved to collect all of them. His wisdom was so abundant and his stories were phenomenal. This little bit doesn’t do him justice. For those of you that were blessed to know him and know his story, you know what a truly amazing man my dad was. For those of you who only know him through my stories I hope he will be a lasting memory of love in your lives in your memories and continue to share his life stories. He loved and he was loved and never forgotten. We will be having the funeral June 25th @ 10am  my dad would love for everyone to be there whether you are there to support his family or you have known  him for a day or lifetime you are welcome to join us.
