Jennifer's Fundraiser for Cancer

Hello! Thanks for visiting my page. This year I have decided to participate in two extraordinary Boston-based events to raise money for cancer research.
1) Swim Across America is dedicated to raising money and awareness for cancer research, prevention and treatment through swimming-related events.
On Friday, July 10th, I will be participating in a 22-mile relay swim around the Boston Harbor Islands with a group of 75 swimmers. Proceeds from the swim will support cancer research and patient care at the Perini Quality of Life Clinic at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and at Mass General Hospital for Children Cancer Center.

2) The Pan-Mass Challenge raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through an annual bike-a-thon that crosses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It is currently the single largest athletic fundraising event in the country. A model of fundraising efficiency, since 2007 the PMC has donated 100% of every rider-raised dollar directly to cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. I will be participating in the 84-mile ride from Bourne to Wellesley on Sunday, August 1st.
