Help for The Saffell Family

Donation protected
It could’ve been me or you, my family or yours. To say that Brian and Mary are the average family next door is an understatement. Brian is a 42 year old hard working family man. An Engineer for Hybrid Technologies for over the past 10 years. Before that a Youth Pastor along with his wife, Mary, for New Wine Church, in Crestline California. Married together for 15 years, they have two incredible children. A boy and a girl -ages 12, and 5. Being a homeschool teacher and mother, Mary has been able to care for their children and be very helpful in the community when there is a need. They always have something to share with the many friends and family members that know their door is always open.

And then EVERYTHING changed! Did you just blink? Because that’s how quickly the universe turned upside down for this poor family....in the blink of an eye! On September 22, 2016 Brian was driving home to be with his family, when a driver coming the opposite direction veered into his lane, hitting him, and another driver head on. Brain suffered major injuries due to this accident, keeping him from work and normal activities.

Brian had back surgery in February. After 8 hrs of surgery it took 2 rods and 7 bolts to stabilize the area. The doctors had to take out a rib to get to the spinal cord. This has added a whole new pain and discomfort he hasn't had to deal with.
He's having a hard recovery and is in a lot of pain. Still out of work and disability had been denied due to paper work issues, now it's going through the appeal process. Which, has no exact timing on that. Providing for his family has been near impossible with $0 income, no assistance, but from friends and family. Mary has been staying home to care for him as he can't drive, dress himself, cook, lift anything, or sit for long periods of time. He also does not have feeling below his waist/urinary  track and down his left leg.
They are trying to keep in good spirits and giving it all to God through all of the turmoil.

They are on the verge of losing everything. Please. We are asking for your help. Today I'm asking that you can find it in your heart to give something, even small, and possibly to a complete stranger, if for no other reason than because tomorrow you may blink and find you may need help.

Thank you and God Bless!
