I've been trying to get a new power chair for 9 months. Medicaid FINALLY approved it…but there's one small catch. They refuse to pay for the power lift. This is the part of my chair that lets me raise myself up and down so that I can see over stuff. I am going to have this chair for 5 years the least they could do is make it so I'm comfortable and like it. I have a manual chair and it does it's job, but I really should be practicing sitting up. I still have my old powerchair, but it's not very comfortable to sit in because i'm too big for it. So i'm asking for $2000 so we can buy the power lift outright and be DONE with it!
