To my family and friends,
On November 9th, the world lost an amazing and devoted husband, son, brother and the most loyal friend to so many that he considered family. Chris Guerette, my sister’s husband and my brother in law, suddenly passed away. He was the brother I never had - with his quick-witted humor, heart of gold, love for cooking, nature and the Giants, Chris's smile was contagious. His music and laughter entered the hearts of those around him, whether they liked it or not. His legacy will live on through Nicole and their future son, due in April 2018.
A service to celebrate Chris’s life will be held on Saturday, November 18th at St. John’s Church in Darien, CT.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, a donation in honor of Chris and my soon-to-be nephew would be greatly appreciated. Donations will go towards funeral costs, as well as to Nicole to help her rebuild her life and raise their son, the greatest blessing of all and the light at the end of the tunnel of this horrific tragedy.
Thank you so much to everyone who has extended their thoughts and condolences to my sister, the Guerette’s and my family. Every message has brought so much joy during this dark time and is more appreciated than words can express.
