The LenayProject: A Healing Movement by METHOD
This isn’t just about hair, lashes, or looks. This is about healing. This is about showing up for the forgotten—the unhoused, the broken, the overwhelmed, the overlooked.
Named in honor of my sister, Leshonda Lenay, who lost her battle to cancer in 2017 who was a beautiful woman and community advocate. This project is rooted in radical love, dignity, and transformation.
We’re building a mobile & in-person healing hub that will go directly into the community to provide: Free makeovers & hair services Gas cards for parents, workers & families in need Portable showers for the unhoused Prayer, encouragement & emotional support Connection to resources, jobs, shelter, and hope We’re not just doing this in silence—we’re doing it in power.
