The Desrochers Hendrick Family Fire Relief

Hi, my name is Kelly and I am fundraising for the Desrochers / Hendrick family. On Friday, November 25th, the Desrochers / Hendrick family lost their family home in Newbury to a devastating fire. Their beloved dog, Baby Girl, was rescued from the fire but sadly succumbed to her injuries Saturday evening. Thankfully, the rest of the family was not home and were physically unharmed. Sadly, nothing could be salvaged from the home and now the family needs our help to rebuild as they begin recover from this tragedy. Jenna and her two young children, Willa and Clive, will need to find housing and furnishings immediately. In addition to the cost of living burden, the family is faced with a sizable debt following Baby Girl’s hospitalization. If you are in a position to donate any amount, please do so now. Friends and Family-

Last night the trauma came to a conclusion with the worst possible ending. Baby Girls lungs had suffered too much damage in the fire and she was unable to recover. I was there with her, holding her like I do when we sleep in my bed together, singing in her ear and whispering to her about Willa and Clive….

Baby Girl came to us as a rescue in July 2021, and she completed our family. Petting and snuggling her was the last thing we did before bed and the first thing we did in the morning, with, of course, time for belly rubs if anyone woke up in the middle of the night. She was silly, Royal, loyal, insanely protective of her children, and obviously the most gorgeous dog most people have ever seen. The pain that this has brought upon me is unbelievable. I will tell the children tonight, so I am essentially going to break their hearts, the ones I have always protected and filled….
