Help Support Craig’s Family

Hello, my name is Katherine, daughter-in-law of Craig and Kim Wise. I am starting this fundraiser to help support Craig’s family and pay medical expenses as he did not have insurance. His medical expenses far exceed our goal, but we ask for any help we can get. He suffered from Respiratory Distress Syndrome, which was caused by the many years of living and working on a ranch, rodeo, dirt bike racing, a propane explosion and fire that burned his lungs, military service, law enforcement and contracting COVID and then pneumonia was the final straw for his already weakened lungs. God called Craig home on 10/07/21 at 9:36pm, leaving behind the love of his life, Kim, children: Cody, Drew, Erin, Rene, Antonio, and Robert, grandchildren: Michael, Ana, and Araceli. He lived a life full of love, adventure and a whole lot of sarcasm. He was a loving and devoted family man, friend, and a servant of God, his country and community. He was a Gulf War veteran and a 30+ year law enforcement officer, serving Harris County District 5 Recruiting and Background, he then retired as Police Chief of Somerville. He was very strong in his faith as a devout Christian. He lived to hear “ Well done my good and faithful servant” on his last day with us as he went on to be with God in Heaven. We intend to celebrate his life on his birthday, October 30th.
