A Loving Husband, Father, and Veteran
I’m reaching out on behalf of my mom, Beverly, to ask for support after the loss of my dad, Charles “Chuck” Davis, Sr.
59 Years of Love and Family
My dad passed away on January 7, 2026, at home, surrounded by love, with his wife and youngest daughter, Jenny (me), by his side. My mom and dad spent 59 incredible years together, building a life full of love, joy, and family. They are the heart of our family, and the memories and the love they created are unmatched.
A Proud Navy Veteran
My dad was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving in Naval Aviation as a nose gunner on a Martin PBM 5-A Mariner seaplane during the Korean War. He served for over 3 years (mostly overseas) until he was medically and honorably discharged after flying through a windshield in a car accident that left him in a body cast for 6 months. He was deeply proud to have served in the Navy and carried that pride throughout his life, inspiring a love of country in his children, grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren.
But beyond his service, he was the happiest, funniest, most loving and compassionate person, and he had the absolute best smile. He never met a stranger… he became friends with everyone he met. His presence lit up every room, and his kindness touched more lives than I think he ever knew. Throughout my entire life, I have never, not once, heard someone say anything negative about my dad. That’s just the kind of person he was.
How You Can Help
This fundraiser is meant to help with funeral expenses and provide my mom with support for everyday needs during this difficult time. Your generosity will help ease some of the day-to-day burdens so she can focus on healing with the family.
Any gift, any prayer, any share, or any kind thought truly means so much to my family and me. Thank you for keeping mom and our family in your hearts.
If you would like to send a check instead, or other help for my mom, you can contact me directly.
With love and gratitude,
Jenny and The Davis Kids
